ESPN College Football Analyst Picks Florida to Upset Georgia

ESPN Analyst and former Florida Head Coach Dan Mullen predicts Florida will upset Georgia on Saturday.

No.1 Georgia (7-0, 4-0 SEC) and Florida (5-2, 3-1 SEC) are set to renew their long-standing rivalry on Saturday in a key game in the race for the SEC Eastern Division crown. 

Reminder of What Georgia Has With Delp, Luckie, and SpurlinSPN College Football Analyst and former Florida Head Coach Dan Mullen shared a number of game predictions on X (formerly known as Twitter), including his prediction that Florida will shake up the college football landscape by upsetting Georgia in Jacksonville.

If Mullen’s prediction holds true, it will be Georgia’s first loss since the Bulldogs dropped the 2021 Malaki Starks exits their matchup vs Vanderbilt / Photo Brooks Austin, ending a 24-game winning streak. It would also be the first time the Gators have defeated the Bulldogs since 2020 when Mullen’s own Florida team defeated Georgia 44-28 en route to the SEC Eastern Division title. The Bulldogs have won each of the last two and five of the last six in the series with the Gators.

Florida enters the game against Georgia on a two-game winning streak of its own after defeating Vanderbilt and South Carolina prior to their bye week. 

The Bulldogs are a 14.5-point favorite over the Gators.The two teams will square off on Saturday, Oct.28 at 3:30 PM ET with the game set to be broadcast on CBS.
