The midsole has Diadora’s morpho base that has Barneys carved following the natural shape of the foot to provide fluid transitions and inherent stability.
The Volo HIP 2 uses 3M iridescent reflective details on the upper that shines bright when headlights hit your shoes, giving you extra visibility and style when you run at night.
Diadora redesigned the heel counter in the Volo 2 to give you a more secure lockdown and added comfort. The lightweight air mesh nylon upper increases breathability and makes it even lighter than the previous Diadora Volo model. The new, tighter weave in the upper holds its shape for longer and provides for a more secure fit. The 3D-printed Diadora logo is not just for looks, either—it provides structure and support for the foot throughout the entire gait cycle.
The Volo 2 is durable thanks to the Duratech 5000 compound in the heel. The outsole on the forefoot blushield of blown rubber to reduce weight and give you the best run.

The Diadora Mythos Blushield Volo 2 has a redesigned upper with a tighter weaved mesh that holds its shape longer and gives you a more secure and comfortable fit. Designers also updated the heel counter for a better lockdown to prevent heel Rock and hug the ankle. Finally, Diadora reduced the overall weight of the shoe to make it lighter on foot (0.7oz lighter in the men’s shoe, and 0.9oz lighter in the women’s shoe).
The HIP version of the Volo 2 has iridescent reflective details on the upper to increase visibility when you run before the sun comes up or after dark.
