2024 marks the 10-year anniversary since Air Max Day made its debut — the annual celebration of the iconic sneaker line and its global cultural impact. In light of the occasion, Nike is introducing a revolutionary sneaker to commemorate Air Max Day 2024, the Air Max Dn. The sneaker represents not only an addition to the coveted Air Max line-up, but also the first sneaker to incorporate Dynamic Air technology.
The result is a sneaker that champions the bold energy inherent to the Air Max line, both in terms of the visuals and the technology used. For starters, the sole unit features two pressurised chambers – each with two tubes – which are tuned with higher pressure in the heel and lower pressure in the forefoot. The result is twofold: not only is each step met with a reactive, smooth sensation, but it lends the sneaker that hyper-progressive look we’ve come to expect from Air Max.
For decades, the Air Max name has been a mainstay in a myriad of musical subcultures, mirroring their youthful energy with its progressive visuals and forward-thinking technology. The Air Max Dn is no exception to that, paying homage to the legacy of Air Max while simultaneously propelling the name into the future.
