The brand was founded by Sotaro Ogino and his brother Ryo in 2012. This Tokyo-based label focuses on creating unique shoes for men that combine both functionality and art at the highest level of craftsmanship. The products are made by hand by skilled craftsmen using inherited conventional techniques. To create exceptional footwear with character, the Japanese duo utilizes the McKay method, in which the shoes are produced from a single piece of leather. Petrosolaum treat animals which are used as materials with the utmost respect.
