After retiring from professional sports, world champion double-division runner (running and cycling) and multiple Ironman competition winner Olivier Bernhard dedicated himself to inventing the perfect running shoe. He contacted a Swiss engineer who came up with the idea of creating a new type of shoe for this activity. In the following years, the symbiosis of running experience and engineering knowledge allowed him to refine this innovative idea. In 2010, Olivier Bernhard, together with Caspar Coppetti and David Allemann, inaugurated ON, whose groundbreaking designs are now available in fifty countries worldwide.
