Opening Ceremony was founded in 2002 by a duo of designers: Humberto Leon and Carol Lim. In addition to their own collections for women, OC also offers designs of aspiring creators and fledgeling brands. An American couple of fashion promotors is renowned for a number of collaborations, including Levi's, Timberland, Vans and Maison Margiela. As an advocate for an eclectic style, OC is not afraid to address important social issues through its designs.
